1 Un adjetivo describe a un nombre.
He´s a slow driver.

2 Un adverbio describe a un verbo.

He drives slowly.

Like + -ing.
Para hablar de gustos y disgustos con actividades usualmente usamos la forma -ing del verbo.

Do you like meeting new people?
We hate jogging.
I prefer skating to skiing.

one/ones
Nosotros usamos one o ones con un pronombre despues de un adjetivo.
Do you like this coat?
I prefer the black one. ( i.e. the black coat )

Can I have a look at those bags, please?
The big ones or the small ones? (i. e. the bing bags or the small bags)
