1  Usamos el presente continuo para decir lo que esta  sucediendo  en este momento.
        They´re playing football at the moment.  (Estan jugando al futbol en este momento)
        I´m wearing jeans today (Estoy usando vaqueros hoy)
2  Hacemos el presente continuo con el verbo To Be y la forma -ing en el verbo.

Ortgrafía
1  Para verbos que terminan en -e, quitamos la -e y añadimos -ing.
    write   writing
    use      using
2  Para verbos con una vocal corta y solo una consonante, doblamos la consonantey añadimos -ing.
    run      running
    stop    stopping

Preguntas.

Para hacer preguntas ponemos el verbo TO BE delante del sujeto.
1  yes / no preguntas y respuestas cortas.
He is waiting for the bus.
Is he waiting for the bus?
 Yes, he is.
No, he isn´t
They are having a break.
Are they having a break?
 Yes, they are.
No, they aren´t

2  wh- preguntas
    Where are you going?    ¿A dónde vas?
    What is she wearing?     ¿Qué lleva puesto?

Presente simple y presente continuo.

1  Utilizamos el presente simple para actividades habituales.
    They play tennis on Saturdays.  (Juegan tenis los sábados)
    A menudo usamos estas expresiones con el presente simple.
    often, always, every, day, usually, on Tuesdays. (A menudo, siempre, día, normalmente, los martes)
2  Usamos el presente continuo para decir lo que esta pasando  en el momento.
    They aren´t playing tennis today, because it´s raining. (Hoy no juegan al tenis, porque está lloviendo)
    A menudo usamos estas expresiones con el presente continuo:
    now, at the moment, today, this morning. (ahora, en este momento, hoy, esta mañana)

Normalmente no usamos estos verbos en presente continuo incluso si se refiere al momento presente.
    like, love, prefer, hate, want, need (gustar, amar, preferir, odiar, querer, necesidad)
    I want to listen to the radio. (Quiero escuchar la radio)
    NOT  I´m wanting to listen to the radio.
